Past Harvest Time!

So, I took these photos a few months ago.  It must have been in late August or early September.
But this is what harvest the grassy grassy looks like.
Days of dusty seeds flowing around in miniature tornadoes.

I'm digging on the red of this dirt.  Dirt here changes color from one piece of property to the next.

And here's what I kind of think is cool...the way they stack the hay.  These huge walls of hay just standing around like monoliths.  I like it.

You've heard they've made those round bales of hay illegal, right?
Cows weren't getting a square meal.

I read some of my earlier posts from a couple years back and I still see the beauty in this place.  I'm a bit jaded about some of it, but that will pass.  And I don't get to go 'out' and see the things that I saw before on a regular basis, but I know it's there.
Hmm, just some pics.  Maybe this weekend when I have the time I will go out and take some pictures of new places that I have yet to explore.  Anybody want to join me?  Not as much fun doing it solo.

All right, love to all and all to love,
Beth
